I have a question, gib .. it's of incidental interest to me really .. Did you know that if you didn't meet your jester win condition you would revert to town? If so, why did you choose to play the jester role instead of just playing a town game to help and win with town?

Yes my pm specified that. Sorry thought i had mentioned that already.

The jester role was pitched to me as a rare opportunity. When i googled for ideas on how to win as a day one jester i came up with nothing, so decided this was indeed a rare role.

I asked one guy on TR what he would do and he gave me some ideas on how to look scummy. Trouble is i looked scummy to you guys on previous games on day one so it didn't work.

Basically i had the chance to win the game in one day so i went for that. It was great fun but harder than you'd think.

I do think it would be very difficult .. and if you're really a jester then you made a good effort where MZ and I were concerned, at least. I was really reluctant to switch my vote from you to higgs.

Also, I should probably apologise for thinking you'd actually play so badly. Right now, whether you're telling the truth or bullshitting us, you've given that notion a kick up the arse.

Thanks Charlou. If this was bullshit though it wouldn't be very good play, it would be stupid. It's an unlikely role, most people aren't even familiar with it, especially the revert to town part, there'd be a risk someone else was krusty, i'd be a vig target too.

So i'm gambling you can can see i'm not bullshitting, and this is just how a talk online. It's nice that i can relax now. Kinda hoping one or two of the others can confirm this is me being normal.

Yes i was limited not only on certain words phrases or hints, but also on word count and number of posts. That's why ani can so easily clear this up for us.

You're assuming that two jesters would get identical post restrictions. I wouldn't assume that, personally.

I've seen a couple of games that had multiple jesters. They were relatively large games.
