Specifically, I was bemoaning the fact that racist crap as in the OP makes it hard for observers to seperate the two, which is the true pity...

I can understand why folks may not like the comments (or the message behind them), but hardly a great surprise.

Multiculturalism shares one thing with Communism - both arguably a good idea in theory.........but neither work in practice. and can never do so...........as don't take account of the human nature thing.

Still, Multiculturalism is one of the few industries that Britain has left. Just a shame it sometimes involves folks exploding on buses (apart from me). Maybe if we group hug more everything will be all right?

and not neccessarily no new entrants to the tribe (new folk are a good thing), nor that they must all be the same colour. Just that 95%+ need to have the same self interests for the society to prosper and be worth folk investing in (time, effort and simply giving a shit). and all that is simply a numbers thing.

To be blunt you are not the same tribe as the locals if you know exactly where your family came from abroad, let alone still have relatives living their. especially if that fact would be evident when sitting on the bus.

No matter what the Govt tells you. or me.

BTW me was married to a dusky foreigner (irronically not exactly PC on "darkies" who were lighter skinned than her ). and I have lived as the odd one out. My comments do not say it is a good thing or not - it's just how it is. Aiming higher as a human race blah blah is a nice thing, but with Tribes it is wishful thinking and dangerous nonsense guaranteed to result in the failure of that society in times of strife or scarcity - everyone is happy in times of plenty.

Time will of course tell for a couple of western Nations on that one.
