I sympathise entirely with what you are saying but consider this: in Ireland there are people who are willing to beat, shoot, bomb, injure and murder their way to a United Ireland - a great many people, including myself, think that their actions are vile and they certainly ruin people's lives.

While acknowledging that the actions outlined above should be illegal do we then ban any literature, scribblings, internet posts etc by the very small minority who support and celebrate such actions?

Sexual abuse has the potential to ruin lives. I hold that sexual activity is NEVER abusive just in and of itself: It is the coercion, manipulation, threats and perhaps actual physical violence that make it abusive. And it is these things that make it abusive irrespective of the age or species or anything else of the victim.

If a sexual activity is carried out in a way that doesn't have any tangible traces of abusiveness, I can't see how it would ruin lives, or why anyone being seen to promote that kind of ethos should be demonised. On the other hand, kids
- especially younger kids - are so naive and impressionable that it would be virtually impossible to glean whether an (ongoing) interaction was abusive in any way or not - even maybe unintentionally on the older party's part. Hence - can of worms…

But please don't buy into the ludicrous notion that kids are inherently asexual and sexual activity Inherentlt bad for them and "dirty" till they reach a certain age. This is bollocks, I assure you. I was quite aware of my sexuality at least by age 6. My nephew is already flagrantly a latent heterosexual. I have him on video telling ME to take my clothes off, and making idle remarks about how he prefers females to males. I didn't strip for him. I'm just not going there! He can go explore his sexuality through other avenues...
