The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

You all agree to elect Animavore as your leader and hand him a gun to dispatch Magicziggy.
Animavore pushes him to the ground and shoots him in the back of the head. The exit wound opens a large section of the front covering the floor with plenty of mammalian bone and brain matter but no scales.

It would have still been the latest post if you red buggers hadn't posted in the locked thread

Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

I will announce it next time. I just locked it while I checked my vote count and wrote the nightfall post. It is open again for night chat now

MZ was acting weird. It was probably best that she went.

Char, was that really necessary. You just aggravated the town situation. And there wasn't alot of pressure on you as well.
And I'm a little skeptical of Morts & DP's story.
SR could be a lurker as well.

Denny & Durro has some explaining to do, and plenty of it. I'll be running through thier posts soon.

I thought outing would give my concerns more weight .. it's really unfortunate I couldn't do so earlier so that MZ might have been saved. Also, I thought I might be hit tonight anyway so better to just come out with what I know.mononoke wrote:Char, was that really necessary. You just aggravated the town situation. My role is a perverse one because I had to think carefully about who I blocked/protected .. I didn't want to stifle a town special, either by protecting that special or preventing the person I block from being accessed by a town special .. I chose Feck on night one because I thought he's either a vanilla town or scum, so my stifling of him would not have repercussions for a town special other than making him unviewable and I thought the seer would be more likely to view the mayor. I chose Morticia on night two because I thought she's scum but unlikely to be approached by any town specials ... obviously I was wrong on that as Ani chose to view her as well.
I believe her and DP's story. I think the scum are those I listed.

Clarifying this .. I mean it's unfortunate I couldn't be online to give my concerns earlier .. I don't think outing earlier would have been useful. I had half an hour before nightfall to let you all know that I thought lynching MZ was a mistake and to get you to consider turning your attention to one of the players who are making little to no effort. Again, the twelve hour days combined with my timezone and my RL stuff are a bit of an impediment for me.Charlou wrote: I thought outing would give my concerns more weight .. it's really unfortunate I couldn't do so earlier so that MZ might have been saved.

And yet when I have similar issues, I'm being scummy because I'm quiet ?Charlou wrote:Clarifying this .. I mean it's unfortunate I couldn't be online to give my concerns earlier .. Guys, I filled in here at short notice into a game in progress. I'm not familiar with all of your playing styles and the rules aren't as crystal clear to me here as they are on Ratskep, as you don't publicise them in detail before each game. You all work on the assumption that all players know what's going on, but I'm playing catch up and have little to offer in terms of game analysis, as I'm really not sure exactly what's going on - both personally and with regard to the likely roles. I haven't PM'd anyone as I seem to remember that you guys have no-PM games.
FYI, I did 21 x-rays and 5 CTs this morning and had to try to keep up with my Ratskep mod duties during my lunch. It's now early afternoon and I've finally caught up with this thread in between patients, only to find I'm being attacked for being quiet. Meh.
Let me state, I am a plain vanilla innocent. The scum probably won't want to whack me as I'm (allegedly) suspicious and some misguided players will probably lead a lynch vote on me next day round. They'll probably not touch Ani or Charlou, as there's a 50/50 chance of them being protected now that Charlou has taken the bizarre move of outing herself when it wasn't necessary. That leaves a small pool of innocents that will be targeted now. The scum are playing just fine and I see a win for them coming up. Lynching me will help ice the cake.
