Ratz Mafia - A success!

Post by Zigmen » Sun Nov 07, 2010 8:53 pm

Hi Folks!

I just wanted to take a brief moment to thank all of you who signed up and brought Ratz Mafia back from the brink. We were really against the ropes just a few months ago. Your being here has brought us from tiny little games into a new realm of full membership games that allow the GMs to try new flavors and styles.

Thanks to Ghat and Oblivion for GMing!

If you'd like to try you hand at GMing, just say the word and we'll make sure you get help every step of the way!!!

C'mon! You know you wanna try it! It's great fun!

I've been on both sides of GM mentoring (I've been mentored and I've mentored a few new GMs). I also have shadowed and co-GMed a few games. And I find that part of the game as interesting as playing, so I don't consider it a hardship to sit a game out and help someone. So, if you have an idea for a game, or if you'd just like to help with a game sometime and see how game design and game running works, shoot me a pm.

I wouldn't mind joining in at some point, I've not played it before, but right now I just don't have the attention span to follow whats happening and pick it up. Some day soon maybe.
Men! They're all beasts!
Yeah. But isn't it wonderful?

Ask for a mentor Mille ..It's less confusing to play than you think .

+ 1 :D :hugs:

And special thanks to oblivion for not giving up on us :hugs:

After my november writing thing has finished, I'll be back to play and to GM. IMO ratz mafia is much better than ratskept mafia, which is lucky for me :smoke:

Mill, its rather easy. I think I never had to be guided at all during my mentoring game. Then again I lost that game, so who knows.
I can live with doubt, and uncertainty, and not knowing. I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong. [...] I don’t feel frightened by not knowing things, by being lost in a mysterious universe without having any purpose, which is the way it really is, as far as I can tell, possibly. It doesn’t frighten me. - Richard Feynman

Zigmen, Oblivion, Ghatsomethingorother,

I like the mix of games that you are creating.

I've said to myself that I wouldn't play two in a row, but I keep missing out on Ghat's. So I'm staying in for this one.
A nice quiet vanilla role is just fine. :smoke:

Why not? Good players spend more than half the time dead anyway!

Try a string and see how you do! I'm sure we can arrange for you to have plenty of downtime!

Mwuhahahaha!
