I can live with doubt, and uncertainty, and not knowing. I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong. Let us think the unthinkable, let us do the undoable, let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.

Holy crap???
Yeaaay.
Good game played by all (except for my flail at the end. I should have picked up on being viewed. I know this made it tougher on my team mates)!
Ghat, what was your roll?
Who killed DP?

Thanks for an awesome game Zigmen!!!

Your speech returns to normal, and you may now post normally.

Which is quite ironic, since you have been again dosed with Red Acid.

Now, you feel an utter clarity of thought, a oneness with the universe. You watch Pink Floyd's show and are slightly amused by the artistic sounds and flashing lights. But these are trivial compared to the wonders of the Universe as it reveals itself to you. The natures of God and Science unfold with complete clarity to you.

You stand alone as the one person who understands the nature of all things. You have become The Oracle.

You are no longer Roger Waters, the Town Seer.

Though you walk off stage in search of more fascinating scenes, the band plays on and you are barely missed. A roadie picks up your bass guitar and fills in for you as you wander away.

The crowd, the concert, the security guards . . . Such are as ants in a sand pit. You can speak their language easily, as you can speak all languages now.

You also become aware of the nature of death; that end that leads only to new beginnings.

You walk back stage with impunity and pull a pistol from the Security Cage.

Who will you target? Yourself?

Hardly!

You may kill one player each day and each night by PMing their names to me. It is as if you whisper a name, and that person will simply vanish from the cacophony and chaos of this insignificant ant hill. Or, you may block any player to keep them from taking their night actions. Or, you protect any player you like at night.

But, be warned!!!

If you kill by day, you may ONLY kill that night. If you choose to block or protect, you must skip your Day Kill that day.

Your name is Order. You are The Oracle.

You win by surviving until another team has won. You are Indy.

And there are those among the living who know of your character, and they know of your great power.

They might be valuable allies.

Your night view of DP has been skipped in light of your transformation.

Congratulations, you are the most powerful character ever created in Mafia. You also have the most difficult win condition: survival.

Good luck.
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

I was the seer all game but I knew taking a shot now wouldn't hurt me if I hit a town by mistake. I really thought DP was scum though

Thats where the oracle came into play!
Did it happen because you were given the red acid 2 nights in a row?

There will be a lot of questions, no doubt. In a nutshell, Yellow Acid was the town's tool for mostly fun purposes. The Red Acid was the tool of the Scum team and carried random negative effects.

The combination of the two Acids, and their prolonged usage carried even weirder effects.

Higgs can tell you a story about prolonged usage, if she chooses to.

The Scum team began with only 3 players. The Red Acid was designed to give them a little more punch than a standard Scum team.

Town was also hindered by having only a Seer and a Doc, but no Vig. The Yellow Acid the Town dispensed only became a weapon when used in combination with the Red Acid, or to meet the requirements of prolonged usage scenarios.

Up until yesterday, I thought Town was in the best position to win. Your Seer was outstanding. Your Doctor was very useful, and saved a life.

The Acid dealers were ultimately extremely powerful. Perhaps too powerful.

Mid-game, I was advised that this game favored Scum a bit too strongly. I disagreed at the time, but now see that the Acid effects were very pro-scum.

Mono and Denny provided an interesting spin, I thought. As the twin Sarahs, the were able to avoid many of the potential overdosing effects by sharing their beverages. I had no idea that would come into play so quickly nor so drastically.

Most players had either an immunity or an susceptability to Acid.

In the end, everyone played well, and I hope you all enjoyed the game and the flavor!!!

Thanks for playing!!!!
