Josh has provided some new court documents on his website:

He should just hire us for his defense. We've covered all that already. :P

I especially liked the how they used the work-for-hire + independent contractor + no written contract.

*waits for Coito's review (which will no doubt be longer than the documents themselves).

I haven't read it yet - but I do fully expect it to be in line with Josh's usual tact of preferring being believed by some people over actually being right.

He is indeed correct that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. That Richard would take someone he was as besotted by as Josh Timonen to court over some minor misunderstanding, or gossip and hearsay - is quite an extraordinary claim. Whether Richard's case holds up LEGALLY is quite another matter. I'm not just interested in the de jure rulings here, but of the de facto state of affairs. I'd like to establish the precise facts of why Richard and his foundation feel fucked over, and if Josh really could honestly plead naivety and innocence - or if he really is the avaricious casual manipulator and deceiver I imagine he is.

Yes, I just love how he's covered the blog in such LOOK-at-how-sweet-and-sensitive-I-am photos…

Did you see the new one attached to the old blog entry, that replaced the former pic that looked as if they were scheming? :hehe:

The chinchilla pic is just too too. He is so trying too hard and I'm not buying it. Transparent. Gag.
It is so gay, and I don't mean that in a nice way.

Somebody save the poor chinchilla!
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."
