Okay, ghat fair enough. But I will have to consider that the next time you are gm'ing a game. I expect a gm to stay with the game to the end, not to give up because they're bored or confused or busy. There was a possibility we could have won, however slim. I would respectfully suggest that the formalities should have been observed.

Oh, I see, so feck was wrong then. I knew it seemed weird when you tol me to go ahead and vote for myself because they might be lurking and would come out to final vote.

Well played Scum.

Great game Ghat.

For the record, my blocks were: Bart Roberts, Ani, and Themaneki.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

To Charlou:

I was a fool not to follow your lead. I just didn't feel like I had enough support. ANd I got confused about having a doc, thought one or the other must be scum, chose wrong til the end when it was too late.

YOu're prolly town's mvp even though we lost and didn't listen to you.

Congrats, scum.

I think this was a weird setup game, the odds of scum being able to claim seer (and there to be no seer for town) are pretty remote.

I think town did OK, actually... my crappy game I'm rating a bit better now, as I took the odds that zigmen was actually seer (the odds were really high for that, given no counter claim all game).

I don't get the trolley tracking on Higgs by blip, but there are always mysteries in mafia.

Scum: your choice of NK's were excellent, kudos to you :)

Just got back home.

Great game, everyone. I'd have to give the VIP award to Zig, however, for that gutsy seer gambit. And thanks to everyone who decided to take it easy on the noob; you gave me an easier time in this game when I was scum than the previous two when I was town. And sorry I was traveling over the weekend. It turned out to be a little more difficult than I thought to check in with my mobile phone.

(For the record, on my Android 2.2 phone the mobile page loads very quickly, but is zoomed in as far as it can go. I can zoom out without difficulty on all the pages -- except the ones where I am posting, which makes posting a little difficult. Anyone know any way to fix this?)

True. I was confused as hell about having to play a day extra..

I think you'll have to be alert and active to the end if you're going to GM. Otherwise we, the poor players, will become uncertain and lose the joy of mafia.

First and foremost, my thanks to Ghatanothoa for designing and running this game. I know how time-consuming it is and this one ran over the week, of course. :td: Thank you also for inviting me to sub in: the experience was, shall we say, an unusual one :funny:

Congratulations to the winners and especially Zigmen whose ploy was both cunning and well-executed. A worthy win for that alone :td:

Apologies for my low post level yesterday: my system was blocking Ratz and I was disinclined to take the risk of over-riding it. As it happened, the game was already lost on 2:2.

Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

This was one of the most frustrating games ever. I was pleading with people not to vote me. I was a compulsive vigilante and could kill one person per night.

On night one I killed Feck because of his insolence here http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 75#p630065

Night 2 I went for Blip but was blocked or something.

Night 3 I went for DP because of his insolence here http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 75#p630061
