I dunno, he may be the worlds best known atheist for all i know

I can't think of anyone more well-known (pass on the 'respected' part). Who am I missing? :ask:

Interesting news to wake up to.
I have that very smug feeling of being right in my assessment of Josh all along. Will be very interesting to see how this pans out. Wouldn't surprise me if the sneaky little prick has a few aces up his sleeve (things he's gotten Dawkins to sign, and the like). Dawkins was way too trusting of the little shit.

Does anyone else still have an account at RD.net? I've submitted an article on this, I wonder if it'll pass the censors?

From Josh's own web site (http://joshtimonen.com/):
He has created websites, ad campaigns, artwork, music and videos for various companies and individuals including the SyFy Channel, New Line, Channel 4 (UK), Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Michael Shermer, Brian Greene, Ideologie, Genius Products, Peace Arch, The British Humanist Association, The Days The Nights and many others.

So who else will be going back through the books now?

Hopefully all of them. I wonder how many hired him through Dawkins' recommendation?

I think he's referring to this:

Maybe the dedication in the next edition will be a apology to the members of the thriving forum that Prof. Dawkins allowed a suppurating rat's rectum with a penchant for embezzlement to destroy.

I agree.

He stood up for, and stood beside, someone he trusted as a friend. That trust and friendship was betrayed. That is a terrible thing to happen to anyone.

And people are rejoicing in that. :nono:

Many of us have deeply mixed emotions. I admire much of what he has written and done, and he is certainly the victim of bastardry, but he contributed heavily to the demise of a wonderful community, and his own lack of common sense in trusting Timonen has come back to bite him on the bum.

So, not rejoicing at all, but not without a little schadenfreude, either...

Probably most of them, but I suspect he might have a little difficulty getting work from the atheist/rationalist community in the future.
