Oh yes. That's odd. FoS BR from me, too. If the quiet ones show up, then we have a little smorgasbord of choice for a lynching today.

Yeah, seems to be a lot of no-shows for this one(bit rich coming from me, I know), it being the weekend might explain some of it on day one, but if they are still lurking or absent today then they might need a little prodding.irretating wrote:Oh yes. The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

Glad that was over. Too bad it'll start up again tomorrow.
Anyway, in the last game Mort wasn't very active, and she turned out to be scum. Still, she was a little more active than in this game. Has she even checked in?

I'm not scum you morons, if I was yesterday I wouldn't have come out swinging. I'd have sat back and watched everyone try and run circles around themselves.

Come out swinging? Of all your posts yesterday only one was game related, the rest were drivel, and at that:Bartholomew Roberts wrote:I'm not scum you morons, if I was yesterday I wouldn't have come out swinging. I'd have sat back and watched everyone try and run circles around themselves.
Sciencerob was new(2nd mafia game).Bartholomew Roberts wrote:OK is ScienceRob new to this or something? I don't think scum would throw a hissyfit and have people paying attention to them but w/e.
Don't Panic should be town. Maybe dumb town but town. I don't know why anybody would vote for himself or herself on day one, especially a bad guy. Yeah, including the don. If I were don maybe I'd have a teammate push for a mayor vote but I probably wouldn't. and I definitely wouldn't just vote for myself.
vote morticia
vote charlou
I am town, well done Sherlock.
And another vote without a hint of a reason behind it. Are you just picking names of the list and voting at random? Or have you reasons for your votes? If so, not sharing isn't very pro-town.

Vote Bart Roberts
His posts are fluff at best and deliberate attempts at sowing confusion in the thread at worst. Confusion helps scum, no one else.
And drive-by posting doesn't help matters either, leaving when someone posts something you don't want to reply to doesn't make the question go away.

FoS this ... it is like her to not post for long periods ... she's turned up scum the last two times, but going by her writeboard posts at least her lengthy absense last game was genuine.Zigmen wrote:Vote Mort

totals is usually slow to step up to the game. I hope we hear from both him and Mort today .. and not just absense excuses .. but some useful thoughts on the game so far, etc.
A few people hitting the club today ... FoS on you guys too

Re: Flavourless mafia day 2
Charlou has a point about totals and morticia. Looking at the idea of the post counts from yesterday, though, irre seems a little lower than usual, but higher today.

Re: Flavourless mafia day 2
what time does the day end? and if I die w/e. I voted for who I did because nobody ever goes, "I thought maybe there's two vigilantes."
unless I'm wrong.
which I'm not.

hmmmyeahhhh, I thought that was odd too ... Even thinking 'a vigilante' suggests there's more than one .. why would it? Good pointBartholomew Roberts wrote:what time does the day end? and if I die w/e. I voted for who I did because nobody ever goes, "I thought maybe there's two vigilantes."

Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

Re: Flavourless mafia day 2
Still no Mort or Totals and nothing in the rules about godkills. I'm still leaning toward the idea of silence being scummy at worse, or a liablilty to Town at the endgame.
Given the choice of the two, Mort seems like the smarter choice because we've seen her try the silent Scum approach a couple of times already.
