I am really assuming and hoping you've been viewed, which means no votes on you thus far clears you. If that is the case, then I'm thinking the group of suspicion is ghat, ziggy and useless. But I also feel I'm missing out on some scum, who is laughing away. Maybe maneki, who feck listed as most suspicious, perhaps for some WIFOM mind fuckery.

for one thing, the glaring absence of Ghat in the post I quoted above. I think other players could speak to this better than I can, but scum players have a tendency to do one of two things - add a scum player to their lists of town/scum, or ignore other scum completely. Ithe question is whether feck tends to fos or vote for other scum players (like he lynch voted DP early on day 1), tends to add them to his "town reads", or tends to ignore them. or if he tends do do any of the above as suits his fancy.

Feck placed a vote on a team mate in a recent game that threw me.
I'd concur about themaneki.
Don't know why I didn't stick to my guns on that one. Suppose it's because UT seems so straight.
UT and themaneki for me. And Denny 1/3 let's not forget.

You know what bothers me about this? You are setting up future seers to get night killed by scum on the basis of a lynch vote on the mayor.

On the upside, you are also setting up gutsy vanilla town who decide their scum-read of a mayor is strong enough that they don't wait for a seer to out. the vanilla player probably gets nked and the real seer gets another view.

I realised the issues when I posted. The WIFOM will work more for town than scum, I think.

further wifom - scum can also be the first vote on the mayor and lead a town stampede. that's happened to me more than once and twice it happened when I was an indie. the scum players got street cred for bringing down a non-town player.

Moving is unfortunately not over, tomorrow is the last night she has to get shit out after work. However, I will probably not be able to help her since I have other RL stuff to do in the evening. I will be here for a little bit now and hopefully at my normal time tomorrow evening. I'm exhausted and will be going to sleep shortly.

What I have picked up so far is UT, Irre and Oblivion seem to be playing their town game. It seems Oblivion has had a lot of pressure but has not been viewed yet. That is curious. But then again she has been in no real jeopardy of being lynched hence the seer may not have outed or we don't have a seer. TheManeki and Ghat have my attention atm. The rest I'm either not sure about or don't know their playing styles yet. It seems like a lot of posting today was about my absence and not much scum hunting other than that. I have to admit, right now I have very few original thoughts since the days have been played basically without me. It's hard to get into the game after the fact. Tomorrow should be different.

IMO the seer shouldn't out to save me if it comes to that. better to get another view and find scum. Losing my lynch vote a day or two early won't matter much. I'll still be able to offer my thoughts, and I might be more clear-headed if I'm completely free of survival concerns.

This reminds me. I asked zigmen a question after nightfall and I assume it's ok to share the answer. players who have had the brains for the night already know this. whoever has the brains learns about it in the morning.

It could be that this knowledge is muddying the waters in terms of trying to get alignment reads of players. If they're concerned about not catching the attention of the zombies they could wind up looking a little scummy to town.

this makes me feel a little better about my complete cluelessness this time around.

Ah... but a vote on you tomorrow would be extremely interesting, and not one that I'd automatically think was from the seer.

The reason I thought feck was town was because I thought he was the damn vigi. He voted for dp and then when dp was killed I thought it was him. Classic trolley tracking. I've been thinking about the vigi, it's an interesting one (which I'm not going to share, obviously).

I'll spell it out. a vote on me tomorrow, especially if it draws more votes, could be a ploy to get the seer to out. Or it could be the seer finally decided to view me and OMG I'm scum.

He's scary-good at scum. It's going to take me a while to be confident of my reads on him. He's pulled off a few feints that I would never try. A couple of games I thought were amazing luck, I'm now thinking weren't luck.

^^ adding to my first comment - it could also be a gutsy vanilla town player deciding their read is so good, that they aren't going to wait on the seer any longer.

Note to seer: don't out, unless you are in danger of being lynched yourself, or unless you have some good information (a confirmed scum plus a confirmed town or similar). If the seer is experienced they wouldn't need to be told this.

I think there's a reason feck is scary-good at being scum :?
