the main thing is this - if the quiet, touchy players keep playing a quiet, touchy game they will probably be in the running for the next lynch. Re: Zombie Day 3
Morticia commented that she has a real-life emergency. I'd had to lynch a townie with a legit excuse. But of course, it's WIFOM and a good scummy ploy, too.
I think mono is just a good a target. Would ghat and UT's company be more reassuring for you, oblivion?

I'm happy where my vote is. If things start going off in a random direction again I may switch to morticia to make sure one of them gets lynched. They both need to die IMOoblivion wrote:I'd rather be in more reassuring company than irre and sciencebob. but, I don't see a good reason to vote mono over Morticia at this point.
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

Re: Zombie Day 3
Where do you see Mort's response talking about an emergency?
I can live with doubt, and uncertainty, and not knowing. I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong. She could also be scum with a legit excuse.irretating wrote:Edit: I meant, I'd hate to lynch a townie with a legit excuse

I linked to a post of morticia's from the undies game where she made similar excuses on day one. I was the vig and hit her that night - she turned out to be scum. The excuse thing could be a coincidence ... but hmmm ... how often did the boy cry wolf?

What was the excuse for the day before? what's the excuse for today?irretating wrote:Morticia commented that she has a real-life emergency. I'd had to lynch a townie with a legit excuse. But of course, it's WIFOM and a good scummy ploy, too.
I don't see any reason to prefer one over the other.I think mono is just a good a target. Would ghat and UT's company be more reassuring for you, oblivion?
Mono at least seems to get that the best defense is a strong offense. but that's true whether a player at high risk of lynch is town or scum. I personally find it a lot easier to fight off a lynch using the righteous indignation of being town. I'm a lot more likely to go quietly to the gallows when I'm scum. I don't think that's true of all players.

Re: Zombie Day 3
Mmm, If there were a few details I might be swayed as Mono and Mort seem equally likely... but I don't see a reason to prefer either one over the other yet... It will suck if Mort turns out to be town and just couldn't get here in time. I think for now I will stick with my vote.
And lol CHarlou, Nice snipe in that game.
