I guess that ups your ratio to about 85/15 now?

WTF is this. Do you think we should all keep quiet on day 1 and give scum a hiding place? Utter nonsense. Day one is where you get information for day 2 even if you do end up lynching town and a nolynch on day one just gives scum a free kill. I'm trying to work out if this flawed reasoning is because you are scum or just because you are clueless. FOS anyway.mononoke wrote:I don't believe in the first day witch hunt. This post looks more townish than your posts yesterday. I still have an eye on you butScienceRob wrote:As to my responses: I feel the best way to play is to answer my accusers rather than not responding. I suppose I could just not respond but then I risk of dieing by the way Higgs did as he didnt respond to his accusers. I don't think its wrong to respond.
As for my reasoning for voting Higgs, I thought he seemed most suspicious as he didn't even attempt to respond to his accusers while...mmm trying to remember who the other person was.... Maybe it was UT? did respond.
And Charlou, for the record, we went back and forth between my piano and bed. It was... erm nice?

I know, dice have no memory, the odds are 1 in 3 in every game, it's not cumulative.higgs2 wrote:It's per game. Get a statistics book. Still an unusual frequency of scum draws though, the individual results should trend towards the statistical average over time, not away from it.
I might write a book about it. Veni, Vidi, Vermeni, I came, I saw, I was scum.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

Re: Zombie Day 2
My window to post before nightfall is narrow. I'll leave my vote where it is for now.
The danger is that dp can just swoop a clinching vote at the last minute. I'd need to read the post of totals to join that bandwagon.
But I'd prefer it if totals would post directly to this thread and tell us all about it.

dp's vote has no effect on the lynch, unless I'm totally misunderstanding what the brains vote is about.

Re: Zombie Day 2
For the record, I usually like to cast my vote a couple hours before it ends(the day that is). It sort of gives me more time to talk and try to get a sense of people's loyalty.
I think the way the zombie votes work is they vote on a player to perhaps kill(50/50 chance if they have the brains). So obviously the scum will try to sway their vote away from their scum partners just in case they do have the brains that day. I think that's the way it works.

I can live with doubt, and uncertainty, and not knowing. I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong. [...] I don’t feel frightened by not knowing things, by being lost in a mysterious universe without having any purpose, which is the way it really is, as far as I can tell, possibly. It doesn’t frighten me. - Richard Feynman

Re: Zombie Day 2
Good shot, vigi. I think I know who you are, and I like your thinking
Ghat, I really think you were onto something vis a vis sciencerob, though you've backed away from it now. Sciencerob seemed overly panicky when pressure voted, IMO.
vote sciencerob
I agree that scum thought that taking out charlou would really put the FoS on oblivion. Kinda obvious, really.
I'm not into the totals BW. I think I'll watch ziggy for a bit to see what scum hunting he does.
Today so far I think morticia is looking suspicious, too.

Re: Zombie Day 2
Are we sure it's a vig and not an SK? Just raising the possibility. The shot to the heart vs to the head doesn't really tell me much about the non-scum kill in terms of alignment.
Are there some past game interactions driving the MagicZiggy/DennyB show?
Ghat totally ignored UT's vote. Normal for him?

Also, anyone have a feel for Irre's game so far. It's coming off a little scummy to me, but I can't figure out quite what's off about it.

Re: Zombie Day 2
LOL what's different about it is that I'm consciously not allowing myself to trolley track. In previous games the mere fact that you survived the night would have me FoSing you in a big way. Also, UT's very first post pinged with me (and I voted him) but I accept that a single ping should not have me trolley tracking. It's my new game and I hope it's a more effective one.oblivion wrote:Also, anyone have a feel for Irre's game so far. re the vigi vs SK, I think it's more likely a vigi, because a SK would have had no reason to hit a normally quiet player who didn't go hard after anyone.
Ghat tends to ignore votes on him IIRC, and just goes aggressively after his targets.
Re: Zombie Day 2
I didn't expect to be a target last night. There was at least some chance that I'd be protected by the doc either last night or tonight due to the mayor vote. I kinda hoped someone would potentially waste a night kill on me.
I'm still trying to figure out how revenant aspect to this game would affect kill strategy. I'm thinking it won't for scum. It may for the vig, assuming it's a vig. An SK may choose to make their kills look townish to start with. I did that once in a game last year, and almost won the game. Town never suspected I was an SK and not a vig, but scum won that one in a very close match.

Oblivion, you must remember that game. I don't recall any other interactions with DennyB in any other game.

There's none.
He's claiming I'm not playing my normal game. Or rather that my game is scummy. Where does he get that from?
