They are in DC now - but I don't think the Smithsonian is on the agenda, although I did try to persuade them.
It's a piece of piss to be cowiz, but it's not cowiz to be a piece of piss. Or something like that.

Is it just me, or does anybody else hate these websites where every page has a black background? A few seconds looking and reading, and my eyes go funny, with white lines that linger even when you look away.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

Same here.

I used to have that problem, but it stopped after I switched from acid to shrooms.

Actually, it takes me back to the time when I first connected to the internet via an old 8088 and a stolen university password.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

The Net is best considered analogous to communication with disincarnate intelligences. As any neophyte would tell you. Do not invoke that which you have no facility to banish.

I walked past the museum just yesterday (with Ele)! I noticed signs for the new exhibit, but we were on a tight schedule.

Maybe I can take a look sometime soon...
