Looks like an interesting film. Always good when the lies and deceit of the military is exposed. You can always be sure that when one cover-up is unraveled it usually means it's just the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

All I knew about this was that Tillman was killed by friendly fire and that the circumstances of his death were covered up. I had no idea why. I just figured a friendly-fire death was embarrassing for the military. But I just saw a clip from Bill Maher's show in which Maher interviews Tillman's brother. What I got from that interview was that Tillman may have been intentionally killed by his own. Apparently he was no dummy, and was very critical of Bush's Iraq invasion. It's hard to say just how critical, since his diary was burned.

The movie may have been released two months ago, but it was only released in theatres (here in the US) this last week. The story, at least as presented in this movie is not an old story to most of us in North America. I have followed the Pat Tillman story closely from the beginning since he was a personal friend of my husband's and some new stuff comes out in the movie.The Mad Hatter wrote:Released in August.
