The self preservation is not the reason why I'm keeping my vote on her. The reason I'm keeping the vote on her is because of her explanation of why she didn't change her vote. It doesn't add up.

1. She puts in a protection for herself
2. She asks Zigmen if she can protect herself
3. She thinks about whether to protect Charlou instead
4. She waits to find out if she can protect herself before changing her protection
5. Time runs out and she can't protect Charlou

Charlou fucking outed on day 1. You posted in the thread after nightfall. you KNEW she was the vig. You said you even considered changing your protection.

Your job was to protect her, or protect the person you thought was seer if you had a good idea who that might be. But, the seer would have had to have half outed to be the kill instead of the vig (who was almost certainly killing scum on night 1).

^^ all of this was written as if you had done one of the most ridiculous night 1 doc performances I've witnessed. Not the most ridiculous - I've seen some doozies. But it does highlight the craziness of your story about waiting to change your protection to her until you knew if you could protect yourself.

A doc should have protected her unless they had a really good idea who the seer is.

Even when specials out, there's a certain amount of shell game town can play by increasing the number of players who *might* be protected. But, this time, there was no good sign of a seer, and the vig was way more valuable than the mayor was. It was worth it to scum to take the risk Charlou might be protected and make her the NK anyway. Especially since they knew she was going to try to kill Morticia.
