Which game is that, Ani? I played the first and second games, and that looks awfully familiar. I remember getting very angry and very frustrated. But I beat it eventually.

I hate the goddamn camera in FFXIII. It's too sluggish, doesn't follow me quickly enough, even when I manually manipulate it And I can't always look where I want to look And sometimes I can't even see the enemy I'm fighting because it's off-screen

But in good news, I put my TV in my bedroom, and can now lay in bed and play all hours of the day and night

The first one? Yeah, that game pissed me off in parts. But I'm not very good at fighting, and remembering which buttons to press. I usually just muddle my way through
Anyway, if it's the first one, then I did beat that challenge, but only after a lot of swearing

I suck, Ani. So if I can do it, you can do it. I think you had it right, though: luck plays a large part of it. Or at least it did for me. That made it all the more frustrating, though, because it wasn't anything I was doing, or not doing. I just kept trying it over and over and over and over and over. Sometimes I'd do well, but for no reason I could discern. It's not like I could duplicate my more successful runs. I just had to keep trying and hope I had another particularly lucky go of it. And eventually I did. Although learning how to fight properly certainly does help as well.

Did it meself. Wasn't too hard, took me three tries. I did take about half an hour's break in between each try though, to stop myself from raging everytime the game did some cheap bullshit. The monsters would block constantly, and then out of nowhere hit me in mid-jump so I would go flying off, and always within sight of the final area.

I got to the top of the big tower and defeated the beasty on the roof. No one in this tower, including the beasty, gave me much trouble. Maybe I'm over-leveled? Dunno. But now that I'd leveled up some, I didn't take the path at the top of the tower as directed. First I wanted to go back into one of the previous areas and beat those huge robot things I couldn't defeat before. Figured maybe I had a chance now.
They're those big robot guys that Hope sometimes jumps on top of and rides. Except there were two of them that I passed earlier that I could fight. I tried, of course, but got obliterated in short order. This time around, I fought one of them and managed to beat it, but only by the skin of my teeth. What did I get for a score? Zero
Similarly, I went back out into the large field and took on one of the dinosaurs. Again, it was a bitch, took me forever, and I made it just by the width of a c-hair. But I managed to kill it in the end. And got a score of zero for my trouble And the orb it was guarding, which I could finally open, held something that wasn't worth shit to me

So there's um...this HUGE monster roaming around in the field now, in an area currently out of reach. He made the sky all grey and stormy. He's...ah...really big

Gonna take on some marks now, see what the rewards are. Also I wanna level up all my characters as much as they can level up before I go back up the tower. I don't know what happens at the top of the tower, but I don't want to go to another chapter or something and get that message that says "your characters can now level up more!" before I'm done leveling up what they've got room to level up already.
