UK Column

Post by M » Wed Sep 15, 2010 2:56 pm

Hello.
Doea anyone know anything about UK Column please? I suspect something other than the vague political group I am told about by an old friend.

Nothing sorry. Weirdly their Wikipedia page was deleted on the grounds: "Notability not asserted, poorly-disguised soapbox".

All I can find is an online newspaper and a reference to a paper version published by UKIP.

Lovely quote on a blog:
The UK Column is not only free speech, it seems to be totally free of fact and reason. Even the Murdoch press has difficulties achieving those lows.

About the UK Column

The UK Column began life in 2005 as the Plymouth & Devonport Column, when Brian Gerrish and his colleagues decided they had had enough of the blatant corruption in Plymouth and the UK.

Through the generosity of its supporters, it has grown into a nationwide organisation, help launch the British Constitution Group, helped spawn the Sovereign Independent in Ireland, and continues to work to expose corruption in every area of British life.

Seems like a one man crusade really.

I know someone who is involved in it to what I can only call a fundamental degree. I wondered if it has its roots in religion, in partic catholocism. Their 'education poicy' talks about teaching sexual morality rather than contraception. Hmmmmm.
