Oh fucking post-modernism.
The principle idea behind post-modernism is the rejection of science and technology, and the idea or concept of truth and knowledge.

Yep things were great before we had all that science and technology.

I won't post it here, but if you want to see the devastating consequences of post-modernist thought, google up the lyrics (or video if you're an a masochistic mood) for ICP's Miracles.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

Maybe what will happen after the Postmodern thing is FINALLY put to rest like the zombie that will never die is a return to a previous idea since I have yet to see anything new and constructive turn up.

It was around before post-modernism too, the only difference is that it was more likely to be attributed to quirkiness and not to a philosophy which rejects advancement.
