Actually I thought that was aimed at denny also. The typo bed for bend was really confusing.Feck wrote:DennyB wrote:How do I prove I'm town?Feck wrote:If you are going to bed game rules to prove you are town then you had better make sure that you actually do PROVE that you are town otherwise it looks like a scum ploy !
I have to be AFK for a while but can be back in a few hours
I may rethink my vote.
Irr, Why so fixed on me?
That post seemed a bit paranoid Denny , obviously I was talking about Zigmen not you, but you jumped in there trying to defend your self .

unvote denny
I tend to believe his explanation.
vote ani
For showing up, looking for a BW and then hitting the club again. This is beyond ridiculous that we've let this behavior make it to day 3.

Why not, Ani?Animavore wrote:Nooooooooooooooooo. Don't vote for me!
I'm going to bed soon and then I won't be able to change my vote before night fall ... so you'd better have a good reason for why I should remove my vote from you now?

Re: Tarot Mafia: Day 3
Denny, Gallstones answered a pretty difficult (but not impossible) question about her role PM on day 1. Granted, if she is scum, she could have had her entire team working on the solution to the question. But, i do think that she is more cleared than not at this point. Your vote on her seems odd.
Irre, on the other hand, has gone from the voice of reason (during the Gall shakedown), to a series of bad votes (including an outed town special), to saying that Godkills are bad for town.
I know you're new, so let me give you quick explanation about Godkills.
In the past, many games ahve been won by scum who simply never posted. There was no evidence against them, so they never got lynched. Townies called for a solution to this problem, and that soultion was Godkills.
Before there were Godkills, there was also the possibility that the silent player could be town, but would be of no help in the endgame by missing crucial votes and allowing scum to manipulate the lynches.
This was a two edeged sword. Town was screwed if the silent player was scum, and they were screwed if the silent player was town.
It wasn't scum teams who asked for godkills. It was town.
And since town only gets so many lynches in a game, there was all the more reason to ask the GMs to step up and fix this problem.
And our veteran players all know why we have godkills and how they benefit town. They know the origins of this rule was based on Town player's requests. They all support the rule.
Except Irre, who is not new to this game and is looking to stoke paranoia. So, Denny . . . Ask yourself. Without the Godkill rule, who would really benefit? And why would a pro-town player cast FoS or vote for another player who supports the godkill rules.
Cuz that's what Irre is doing.
It's scummy as hell. It's a scum tactic being employed. We need to fix this.
Or else we set the stage in the future for pro-godkill players top look suspicious.
And we cannot affort that now, or in any game.

Zig.
I def. see your point. But Sif was town. A scum player would benefit form that kill and would know it.
Still not to sure about Irr though.
What do you think about Ani?

Re: Tarot Mafia: Day 3
Denny, you're making my point for me. The Godkill rules allow for substitutions at the GM's discretion. That's how we got you here and, assuming you're town, it was beneficial to town to have this rule.DennyB wrote:Zig.

What do you think about Ani?
But ponder this:
If Sifaka was still in the game and was not godkilled/replaced, what benefit would she have been in an endgame lyncn-vote?
Zero.
Conversely, she would have been a liability to town because scum could simply outvote town and win.
The lynches are esigned to favor the majority (town). A nonvoting townie is a drag on that advantage.
So, why would Irre Fos/Vote for players who support this rule?
Answer that question, and you'll know what to do.

Re: Tarot Mafia: Day 3
All good points Zig.
I have looked through some past post quickly. (trying to get woork done..deadlines)
My main FOS are at this point Ani, Irr, Fec and Gallstones.
If I vote Irre and people pull off Ani then who knows who will be lynched, P. town
Irre was trying to get votes off Ani. So if ani turns out to be scum then That will tell the story with Irr..
Unvote Gallstones
Vote Ani.
