Higgs, I could not have agreed with you yesterday because the True Blood game had not finished. If I had, i could have possibly outed your role in that game. But, yes. You are quite correct that i am capable of such a ruse. You should also understand that I know that reverse is also true. You came up with the True blood ruse, and I followed your lead (pretty well, if i may add).

The question you need to ask yourself is whether or not such a ruse is valuable to scum on day 1. When you and i performed the great Vig-Switcheroo, we both knew that it would only fool people for about a day (which it did). Beyond that, such a ploy would merely draw attention to the players involved.

We also emplyed that sham as a life-saving measure for a scum team mate (me).

There are vast differences between what you saw in True blood and what has happenend here, though I can understand your interest in the vague similarities.

What happened in this game was pro-town.
I'm still p. upset about my flub in that game don't wanna talk about it.

i think the code card trick would be useful to scum by clearing 2 of them as town, if town buys it. Totally different from teh other thing except for the fact that you would indeed be invovled in something that devious and complicated. :D

I don't know. Now Higgs claims that she also has some sprinkles. That means there are already four people who are supposed to have minor powers. 2 of them are confirmed because they are dead.
Just an idea.

Here's the problem I have with this method where a player is assumed town because they imply or even claim to be special--the scum can do the same. Pretty soon there will be so many coming out that special will be common and scum will be able to hide in the crowd of special town. Might make for a good ploy for scum to coordiante on.
Yes well now that it looks like there might be a bunch of mini specials it's a bit different. But in a regular game if you go around lynching claimed specials with no counterclaim you will probably be popular with scum but that's all.

Morticia, you should change your name it always makes me think you're guilty, I have to consciously discard that feeling before I can even be objective about you :D

That said, who do you think is scum? You seem to be kind of lurky.

I am still suspicious of Normal outing himself as a town with sprinkles. I am also suspicious of Ani for being so quiet again. Sifaka is basically a no show and UT seems to be barely playing again.

I tend to believe that Normal was being honest because he said his role would only last one night and I don't think mono said that about his role did it? It would have been a gamble to not only out as a seer when someone else had already claimed sorta seer, and to say it was one night not knowing if this would be a normal convention.

Broken game or not, the timeline for the Ratskep restart is far enough away that she could easily keep up with this and play.

And rule #1 for scum is to lay low when town is chasing town (unless you're Mantis).

Still FoS on Mantis and Irre.
