That begs the question, who is to hate and discrimination what Steve Jobs is to the personal computer?

So what we're saying is, the smart people stayed home?

That would be larger numbers than either of those, so maybe it's not such a problem after all.

mmmh? you know that Mac is called Mac precisely because IBM had invented the PC before Jobs got into the game right?
And Apple II went through like 5 years or more and at least 3 versions before they came up with something called a MacIntosh

No, it doesn't "beg the question". :ddpan:

The answer to the question would be Catholics and their passive-aggressive bullshit.

I'm not a republican (apart from wanting to execute Queen Elizabeth the Benefit Scrounger and all her chav family).......and I know Obama is a Muslim. The clues are a) his name b) his colour and c) he has never been pictured eating a bacon sandwich.

Not that I have a problem with that. indeed I think it's quite funny :td:

Or he could be Jewish, as he did marry a Ladyboy.

"Dijongate" was funny enough I had to look it up.

It was a cheeseburger. Do muslims have the same restrictions that jews do against mixing meat and milk? That's assuming there's any actual dairy in McDonald's processed "cheese", that is.

Seriously, though, the guy went to a Christian church, his policies reflect Christian values. I really don't see any reason to think Obama is other than Christian.

A fair point, but many times I'm convinced that the masses really are a bunch of booger-eating morons who can't figure things out for themselves anyway.

Many American Muslims will feel as if they are second-class citizens and it could push some angry young men toward violence.

What.... We fucking burn our own flag, We burn our presidents in effigy, we burn dollar bills... yet it's a big fucking deal that we burn a Koran?

Nobody need stay in the US if they don't like the fact that we have the right to desecrate or venerate anything we feel like, on no more justification than we feel like doing so.

Edit:

And another thing......

What the fuck kind of retarded double standard is it that they can build a mosque within two blocks of the WTC site and I'm an insensitive prick for saying it's in supremely poor taste, and I'm also supposed to be sensitive to emotional weaknesses the poor young Muslim men who might blow me to bits because some Christian I don't know, and probably don't even like, decides to burn a pile of Korans?
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

Don't preach to me, I know that he's likely christian, if his religion goes beyond showing up at church to please the voter.

and no, muslims don't have the flesh/dairy taboo, nor are they forbidden from eating all the seafood that practicing Jews cannot.

I think Obama's one small step short of atheism, like I was for a number of years.
