Most Aussies seem very meh about it, it is an election for finding the lesser of 2 evils...

For the first time, it isn't between two evils.
There is a clear and present threat in this election, and that is Tony Abbot, the vile catholic scum he is who complained that schools weren't religious enough.

It's a choice of either plain incompetence or incompetence coupled with insanity. Personally I'm supporting the latter because a) it's not my country and b) it's potentially going to be very funny.
