I hope that somehow- through the acrid clouds of gunsmoke and the screams, some wag had the wit to say "Oops, Butter-fingers!"

Dear me. The poor man must feel humiliated. I'm sure he'll avoid social functions for a while after this gaffe. Would it be rude to send him a copy of this book?

You see, in the West, we had the Reformation and the Enlightenment, which led directly to confetti, by which people are only infrequently killed.

You could breath in a piece of confetti and choke on it, I suppose. We need to do tests.Pappa wrote:No, it's when it gets all wet and soggy underfoot. Good idea, too bad nobody thinks of buyiung blank ammo... not like Turkish civilians really need real 7.62x39R ammo anyway...Robert_S wrote:They ought to sell special blank rounds for such occasions. They could charge more for them if they marketed them as wedding bullets.

I didn't assume anything at all. Randomly firing a gun into the sky is NOT safe and definately NOT the proper way to shoot a gun. You don't need to be a sniper to figure that out.mistermack wrote:You gave no evidence that this guy didn't bother to learn how to use a gun properly and safely. You just assumed it. Some time around 1503 some schmuck with an arquebus must have tried the experiment. I hope he was lucky and the returning bullet missed him.anna09 wrote:I didn't assume anything at all.
