There's an aul fella that drinks up The Slaughtered Lamb, lost his eye in the Falklands. He's called Steely Dan too.

I'm Merkan, though I dream of living like a Norweigan.

As for what happened to steelydan 1 or steelydan 2 well...I thought they were taken already. But I think you can find the answer in Burroughs Naked Lunch....

I love Naked Lunch so much. I was trying to think where I heard that before. Which reminds me, I must get it back off my friend so I can read the first paragraph of page 38 again. I wanted to put it into the Excerpts of Excellence thread.

Steely Dan 1 was torn in two by a bull dike and Steely Dan 2 got chewed to bits by a famished candiru in the Upper Baboonsasshole.
