The secrecy with the military and CIA is not so much about "strategy or tactics" as it is about not letting the public become aware of the dirty tricks and immoral acts which are committed. Defeatism. I, personally, think humanity can get beyond things such as war. We've progressed in other ways and I see no reason why more progression isn't possible. Believe me, I agree with you to a certain extent, like saying "ahhh fuck it, we'll always have religion, war, borders, rape, inequality etc because humans suck" but then I figure, what the point. If thats what we all believe than might as well stop fighting for any causes whatsoever and give in. If people in the past said that we'd all be in chains except for the rich and powerful.
