Wouldn't you have to be in denial about your sexuality to join the priesthood in the first place ?

I mean you might want to be a minister or a vicar and have a wife and kids but to sign up to never having sex seems just wrong in the first place, then when you find out that most of the other students at the seminary are gay an honest man would leave .
