Could be. We have to play careful today. Higgs or Useless pointed out that if an innocent gets lynched today we win.

Another pointer to zigmen being seer: http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 66#p522066

He said that yesterday after Useless voted for Higgs ... I think he viewed Useless last night.

I'm not going to mention it in the game. Useless may have cottoned on to it, but I don't think the others have yet.

We may never need to worry about him if an innocent goes today. Zigmen seems to be looking toward higgs2. Hopefully it will go that direction. If we have to we can hold or change our votes at a minute to the end of the day to sting whoever we want. Remember that they have to be voting unanimously. We just need one of them to vote different so any schism within their ranks is good for us.

Surely we win after tonight unless there's a blocker?
Do we need Useless eliminated for parity? Is her 1.5 vote counted in the end? I don't think it is. It would mean giving away that Useless is town for Oblivion.

For you to say, on the final day if there are 3 all, that Useless has 1.5 votes, it would give away to the other town that Useless is town.

It depends on what endgame conventions a GM decides upon whether that's an automatic giveaway or a nasty little gotcha.

A thought just occurred to me. Oblivion hasn't called the game over. That must mean there is a role-blocker. It might also explain why no seer is forthcoming. We should try to pick the least likely to be protected. Unless the blocker anticipates this, in that case, we should block the most likely to be protected.
Thoughts?

If there is a bodyguard then they will protect themselves tonight, usually you can't protect same person two nights in a row so they protected themselves first night, and will again tonight. I think we should hit useless.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

How do we know Useless isn't the bodyguard?
