Why the UK police cant do their job properly
Why the UK police cant do their job properly
Watch the video on this bbc page, the guy says that the man wasnt part of the protests but you can tell by his body language he aint doing what the cops are saying. Its our medias fault and whining fucking liberals that are messing up our police force.

Re: Why the UK police cant do their job properly
The guy is walking home from work. The police officer who hit him and probably killed him should simply have been more patient. 10 seconds was all the copper had to wait to see what the chap was doing. The chap was not offering any resistance he was walking away from the police in the direction they wanted him to go, there was no excuse OR REASON to use physical force on him. The police officer who carried out the assault should be found and tried in a court and an appropriate sentence passed. The police are not above the law and a very very small number of them are just thugs in uniforms.
The police in the UK generally do a very good job under difficult circumstances but this was not a difficult circumstance. There were 6 or 7 police officers, one with a dog. They are all armed with batons some with protective helmets on and one of them attacked an unarmed defenceless man who was apparently threatening him by walking slowly with his hands in his pockets!

In the US, the cops can shoot you for such. The guy was lucky to get 3 more minutes. Kidding aside, I know a few cops. Most of them, I estimate, are reasonably decent people, albeit deluded (among the ones I know, I mean. Devout xtians, god-and-country types), but some are wankers who got bullied in school and use the badge as a way to overcome the memories, and some use the badge as a penile prosthetic device.CJ wrote:...an unarmed defenceless man who was apparently threatening him by walking slowly with his hands in his pockets!
That said, if getting pushed down was enough to trigger a fatal heart attack in that guy, he already had one foot in the grave, anyway! The media coverage of the whole incident is just absurd!

Re: Why the UK police cant do their job properly
The guy clearly is being a twat and not following instructions. I would guess that by this time the cops had had their fill of wankas and rightly so were being less lenient with anyone fucking them about. Its not just the fact he is walking slowly with his hands in his pockets, he is being purposefully defiant.CJ wrote:The guy is walking home from work. I do believe we have accomplished the consummate threadjack. From (alleged) police brutality in the UK to the brothels of Asia in a record number of threads. How are we going to divvy up the IKUs?Been there, done that."Happy Alley", such a perfect name.

No, I mean hijacking a thread specifically from UK (alleged) police brutality to the brothels of Asia, LBFMs et al. You sure that's been done in -1? I need to see a link...Gawdzilla wrote:Sorry, but the record for number of posts to hijack a thread currently stands at -1.

As for the "-1", I get that from the comments about my threads all the time. "That thread was hijacked before it was posted."

Re: Why the UK police cant do their job properly
He was trying to walk home through a demonstration. The police had no need to react the way they did. Do you understand the concept of choice? The police officer had no need whatsoever to attack him, and he did attack him, he was not defending himself from attack was he?lionheart wrote:The guy clearly is being a twat and not following instructions. So you are seriously telling me that you think that an armed and armoured police officer can do that? What if it were your, father, brother, son who was attacked? I doubt you would hold the same opinion. What would you say to the wife and son of the dead man if you had to defend your actions if you were the police officer? "Sorry madam your husband was not walking quick enough for my liking and he aggressivly put his hands in his pockets so I took out my baton and knocked him to the ground." That's going to stand up in court isn't it?
So you would find it quite acceptable, in fact in the public good, if you were beaten to the ground at the whim of a person who is being paid to protect you?
Sorry the more I watch that video the more I see something seriously wrong with the police attitude to demonstrations.
Now tell me why I shouldn't ban your arse just because I have the power AND YOU DON'T!
