I'm going to pass on voting Colubridae, the only role types that try to get themselves killed are suicide bomber and Jester, claiming scum is silly if he isn't since the real scum know who they are, and a suicide bomber needs to try to get NK'ed to try and take scum with him, a lynch means a possible second innocent will get taken out too.

And I know that if Col is scum this post will look like I was trying to save him and make me look scummy.

Anyway. I don't want to be bombed but it doesn't make sense a bomber would try to get innocents bombed. The bomber is usually vanilla so would want to get whacked.

First off, a jester sounds awesome, that must throw a fun bit of paranoia into day one.

Next I have to agree with DP about col., I think that's one of the last things a scum would do. Unless he's just stressing and his teammates are going to use it to try and get some early innocent paint on themselves early. If he does turn out to be scum, the first couple of people that voted for him today, should be looked at very closely tomorrow.

And where the heck is higgs? I don't want an absentee mayor.

Cleary I didn't get enough early caffeine into myself this early in the early morning. Running down to the coffee shop, be back in a few.

I didn't vote for Col because I thought if he turns out to be scum it would make me look innocent I just felt like voting on day one for a change and Lynch MEEEEE! seemed funny ....Besides I think there is a famous Quote from Paco about this forum not being the place to bluff !

Ghat always votes early, it's how he fishes for reactions. If you're wrong you'll have given the scum a 4-0 kill lead by the morning of day 3.
I will admit though, that the odds are good that at least one of the people who piled on you are scum. Maybe more than one, it'd be a great way to hide a vote without having to dream up an explanation.

If you identified any scum at all with this scheme, my guess is that the entire scum does not contain one player smart enough to PM all the other scummers and warn them of this trap, which is so unlikely I can't even imagine the odds.

I don't think it will end up so sweet. Col should not sway enough votes to get lynched today, but has certainly raised enough suspicion to draw a view from the seer. If Col is scum, we will know very soon. If Col is town, they just wasted a view that could have been directed at a scummy player. I can understand the gambit. I'm just saying that it ultimately would be dumb if they were scum (by drawing attention) and dumb if they were town (by wasting a view by the seer).

I'm keeping my vote on Useless for two reasons. One, the posting for the sake of posting that initially drew my attention, and two, the response to my vote that seemed to be a flail without any pro-town substance.
