Simple Mafia 3 sign up

I'm starting the sign-up for the 3nd game in the simple mafia series. The game design may be a little different from the first 2 games, but the format will still be quite simple. Once we hit 15 players, the sign up will close. If the sign ups trickle off to nothing after we get to 12 players I may also close it. I'll start the game within 24 hours after closing sign ups.

This game won't be a mentoring game. Probably the next one.

For the mentoring game I'll ask who wants to be mentored and who wants to play the game without a mentor. Then I'll twist arms...I mean recruit enough experienced players to mentor everyone who would like to be mentored.

I had originally planned to do 4 to 6 simple games, but I'll quit whenever you guys want to move on. Also, if anyone is anxious to GM a game of your own, these games can go on hold for a while. With no flavor and easy on the specials, these games are very easy to set up, balance and run. I can design a game and assign roles in about 30 minutes.

The mentoring game will have some extra roles if more than 15 people sign up.

Vanilla town are the players that mafia is really all about. If vanilla town can't win the game on their own, then town will lose if the power specials are killed early enough in the game. That's the main reason why the set up is simple in this game - to give everyone a lot of practice reading other players and judging who is playing pro-town and who isn't.
