I don't want to continue lynching town. For God's sake, twinkie or anyone else, if you have information that will clear town or identify scum please let's talk about it. It's just that I have to have facts, feelings don't count in mafia. Maybe we should all go back through our posts here today and really divide the players into least likey - most likely to be scum and support our opinions with facts. THen we can all make our decisions using good information and not just our feelings or our relationships with the other players.

What do you say?

I can't necessarily go with this because I am not sure at all and not confident about the lynch vote.

Whoever the last scum is, is doing a very good job.

Honestly, I might suspect Useless... but he has been cleared as town.

My problem is is that I've gone over each player and they all look innocent to me (except Useless).

I pointed out that Feck made a comment about virphen being scum even before virph was getting the chop.

Normal, in this recent thread has stated that he doesn't necessarily feel that either Feck or I are scum. And he even stated that if his lynching will help get info for the team, then to go ahead with it. That doesn't sound scummy to me at all. If he was - he would have pushed for either Feck or I.

Higgs, you had been voted by virphen the other day right at the beginning of the day. The night before, we were all suspicious of you, and I suppose virphen was trying to take advantage of that. So, that makes me think that you are innocent.

Then there is Twinkie. In whom her recent posts, to me, sounds like she really is town. Not only that - but, I'm really struggling with the idea that virphen would have made mention that he trusts her beyond any doubt. It would have been a really risky move to include her name in his post if she was scum as well. Maybe it was a plan that went horribly wrong. (?) But, think about this - the 3 people that are scum would have known that when Twinkie received her role, there was no added player to their scum team. They would have accepted that she was innocent. So - perhaps, there is a person left who hasn't really made a big fuss about her situation, because they know better then to falsely accuse her - since they have a better understanding of the situation. (Does that make sense?)

So - that is my issue - all others look innocent in my perspective. I really don't know what to say about Useless. He looks neutral to me, so if he weren't cleared, I'd be going for him.

I definitely do not want to lynch a town - but, are we sure there is no Don? I mean, I didn't think there is one.... but, I am seriously questioning that now.

I have not heard a rational explanation as to how that post in the signup thread clears you. If someone could logically explain that to me, I would be able to reconsider, but using that as being "clear" by you as well as virphen adds to my suspicions.

As I say, people not at liberty to comment (i.e. people other than the six of us in this game) will explain it to you in the game wash up. If you are town...

Of course I know. As I've been saying all game, I made a stupid mistake. I do not wish to get some advantage out of a mistake, so I'm not going to use the mistake. The fact that you, as an experienced player, can't see it places huge suspicion on YOU. I've been saying this all game. I'm not convinced of your scumminess - although I have strong suspicions - so you might be bungling. If you are town, I don't wish for you to be lynched next.

Consider me lynched. Town people need to think about who they'd lynch next... discuss it now so that you have more posts from everyone to consider. From my point of view, the higgs2 blunder (or not) clouds my thinking. I voted for Normal but Feck is almost as likely (that is, if higgs2 simply blundered and isn't playing everyone).

If we think there's a good chance of being a don then useless is it. He's done very little this game.

From my perspective I know I'm town so whether you lynch me or useless if he's town you're in the same position tomorrow. I'm very tempted to think there's a don and it is useless, but as you have me for the chop I'm not leading the charge on him. It's him or Normal, IMO.

I don't know for sure about how it's being done here. But I think that scum would probably get a pm to all of them so they know who else is scum. . If she's scum but her name was left off the cc, oblivion would have just sent another pm letting them know that there was one more scum. I'm not saying this happened, just that the whole thing does not clear her.

The Don thing? I've been thinking about that too. I was thinking no because there are so few people, then when I heard that last time there was just a vig, maybe this time since we got a seer and a doc that scum would get a don to balance things out a bit. I think oblivion is trying to give lots of different combinations for us to practice on. So it's not impossible I think.

I know Oblivion wanted to keep the minimum of roles I doubt there is a don ..the question only arises if It's Useless anyway ....

Given the information that we had in the first days I suspect Higgs and Useless but Higgs has been working for town and Useless was seered !


Twinkie seems to be flailing ...but also why worry? seems tomorrow will give me more information ...



Mantis and Normal they both seem to been nice quiet players in this game ...perfect if they were on a team that lost a members so quickly and had a player like Virphen with them .Both of them are playing the nice guy very well

if Higgs IS scum then I will just curse myself for being fooled by a better player and trust my initial instincts more in later games.

I could be making a huge mistake by doing this. But, I'm really inclined to think that Twinkie is town. Throughout the past threads, Useless had little to say about virphen other then he is an excellent player. (Which is true - but, there was no suspicion towards him, whatsoever). And, when he did vote col - I think he was the last vote in.

If someone wants to change my mind, please do so. Because, I could be missing something.

However, the only problem this brings about is that if he actually isn't the don, then I have a good chance of getting lynched next game. And that would mean we'd lose 3 innocents between the end of this day round and the end of next day round.

We had a vig. and a seer last game, it was DP. So I still don't think this game has a don. I'm pretty much in the same boat as everyone else. The last scum is playing a really good game.

maybe instead of looking for THE scum we should start looking for the most likely scum. In the game over at ratskep we each posted our most likely choice for apache and everyone hit on it as their first or second choice. Let's figure out all of our top three list and see who the most common person is. Yes I know I'll probably be on there, I've not been nearly as useful as I was last game but I'd still like to see everyone's list.

Ok. I'm going to go with what the others have said (lists of possible scum). Twinkie and Mantis seem to be on top, while me and Feck are at the bottom (except for the post above this, by Twinkie). I think the most likely scum will be Mantis.

As for non-committal, I've been here every day, even when I didn't have time. I voted each day, and we've brought down two scum already. I would prefer we win earlier, but if winning means lynching a number of innocents before we get to the bad guys, then ok. But I think the smartest move now would be to:
