Nobody gives a fuck, that's why. The fact that the community services established to combat these things are underfunded, understaff, underqualified and lack any authority to do anything registers nowhere on the scale. Instead we have fucking backwater communist hippie fucks calling for a deprivation of these services, almost identially to the way the redneck, trailer park, cousin-fucking conservatives do.
