Some unfinshed business before bed.

Virphen has given very little and I can't sustain a vote for him.

I think Uselesstwit would like to start the FOS bandwagon on me, but not the vote.

Re: Simple Mafia 2 - Day 1
How about this time we work together and see if we can't get rid of the scum faster?Feck wrote:Just for the record I Am all sweet innocent and townie this time ! oh I'm not sure about Scum tells. ..you see my problem with them is The Scum have read them to..
so protesting my innocence in my first proper post ..that's a scum tell innit ?
in fact long rambling posts of any kind are scum tells ? i think it's because Scum can't stand silences (woothe guilt just ate at me the last game )
And for those who want to confuse themselves and maybe others ..The chances of anyone being or not being Scum are independent of their roles in the last game.Unless the GM say, would reshuffle the deck as it were if DP was seer again and Virphen turned out as Viggi ...oooh wouldn't that be fun
oh i've just thought of lots more reasons why this post could get me killed ......you could think I'm the Don talking too much, secure that the seer will check me out and get a false result . OR since the Mafia would love to see an innocent get lynched they are going to think that first day lynches are pretty random and bandwagon wouldn't need to be very big to lynch me .
oh lynching Colubridae must seem like a good option ....because if doesn't ask loads of questions we can assume that he is annoying the hell out of his scum team mates.....and if he does keep asking lots of questions then he is obviously trying too hard and is scum![]()
Mafia it's great you do all this thinking then one way or another Dp gets you

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

One thing that has stood out in previous games is that the players who repeat statements a lot tend to be trying to convince others of something which they don't believe themselves, like a scum trying to play clueless town.colubridae wrote:Fuck me. Re: Simple Mafia 2 - Day 1
I wasn't referring to his behaviour in previous games, but as a trend scum players tend to repeat things about being clueless, or not knowing who to vote for, or the fact that they're town a lot more than town players do.Charlou wrote:

Re: Simple Mafia 2 - Day 1
^^^clarifying .. col's doing what he's done in the previous game, when he turned out to be town. This mafia thing can take a couple games to get the gist .. especially here at rationalia where play isn't quite so serious and aggressive as where I was initiated.
The 'scum tell' thing can be misleading in this format (rationalia
), and with new players, I think. Of course, I could be wrong about col, but we'll see ..

Re: Simple Mafia 2 - Day 1
Actually Charlou, yours is the play style that has changed the most drastically since last game. There a reason for this?

Flippantly chopping and changing votes, you mean? I was thinking of unvoting you but I couldn't be arsed...Uselesstwit wrote:Actually Charlou, yours is the play style that has changed the most drastically since last game. There a reason for this?
Seriously, though, I feel I'm just starting to get to know the players' personalities and styles now and so settling into this game with that in mind and more inclined to observe gameplay this time round.

Re: Simple Mafia 2 - Day 1
FOS col. Continues the "I don't know what I'm doing" thing. One of those is understandable but to keep going on is p scummy, the most clearcut case this game so far,
unvote vote col (someone tell me how new to the game she is?)
FOS Feck THat wot was full of scum tells, even if she kept saying they were not tells. There were a couple more that maybe she didin't know about.
FOS Virphen his/her defense of mantis caught my eye, looked like they could be working together.
Still am p suspicious of mantis obviously

Re: Simple Mafia 2 - Day 1
I don't know. I went back and looked at the other game and even though he was new, he wasn't quite so panicky, changing votes and throwing his figurative hands up in the . If this is the first time he's scum, well it freaks people out to feel "hunted". I didn't want to vote because of the newness thing looking so much like scum flail, but this is different than the last game and somehow scummier I think.Charlou wrote:^^^clarifying .. col's doing what he's done in the previous game, when he turned out to be town.
