Re: Simple Mafia 2 - Day 1

Current tally, hope no one minds me doing this. I need to keep track.
There is a clear pattern of chaos emerging.

Ghat =2
Col= 3
Mantis =1
Higgs =1

Feck =1
Useless =3
Col =1
Higgs =1
Normal =1

I would suggest that even if Colubridea is guilty, he isn't the one who should go tonight.
I will be changing my vote for him as mayor for sure.

There are bigger fish to fry and he may be a liability to a scum team unless they are feeding him lines.

Now I have checked in! I'll start by saying I have to run the audio at the local cabaret, so we have soudn checks from now(ish), and then dinner, and then the rest of the evening goes away for the show. At the end I might be drunk, but I might also be able to post here. Not sure yet =)

In case I can't get back to post before the day ends: Vote colubridae

And of course you understand that this vote is (from all parts, I hope and assume) a shot in the dark, and just a way to get the game rolling.

Happy voting!

What bigger fish? Nobody else has done anything scummy that I've seen. Mantis always does what she's been FOSed for.

Any mafia currently playing who is more experienced than Colubridae. That doesn't exclude anyone at the moment.

Mantis always seems to make herself look guilty, even when she isn't. The one time I recall that she didn't look guilty, she turned out to be Basement Cat (i.e. godmother). So if she's dropping tells, like higgs2 pointed out, chances are she's innocent.

Just for the record I Am all sweet innocent and townie this time ! oh I'm not sure about Scum tells. ..you see my problem with them is The Scum have read them to..

so protesting my innocence in my first proper post ..that's a scum tell innit ?

in fact long rambling posts of any kind are scum tells ? i think it's because Scum can't stand silences (woo :lol: the guilt just ate at me the last game )

And for those who want to confuse themselves and maybe others ..The chances of anyone being or not being Scum are independent of their roles in the last game.Unless the GM say, would reshuffle the deck as it were if DP was seer again and Virphen turned out as Viggi ...oooh wouldn't that be fun

oh i've just thought of lots more reasons why this post could get me killed ......you could think I'm the Don talking too much, secure that the seer will check me out and get a false result . OR since the Mafia would love to see an innocent get lynched they are going to think that first day lynches are pretty random and bandwagon wouldn't need to be very big to lynch me .

oh lynching Colubridae must seem like a good option ....because if doesn't ask loads of questions we can assume that he is annoying the hell out of his scum team mates.....and if he does keep asking lots of questions then he is obviously trying too hard and is scum :lol:

Mafia it's great you do all this thinking then one way or another Dp gets you :Erasb:

And Mantis is aware of this is she? And have you come to her rescue before?

unvote colubridae

vote DP

I voted colubridae because he was the first to lynch vote someone in this game. The reasoning others have used to vote him doesn't add up, to me.

I'm voting a quiet player, let's see if they post (scum buddies will alert them).

FOS magicziggy for lots of spurious logic so far.

So reasoning doesn't add up on voting for Colubridae by three players. But I am singled out for spurious logic for voting Virphen? Why not vote for me?
But you vote for a quiet player when there are 6 hours to go in the day.
DP has aleardy stated he will vote later in the day.

Morning everyone, I see the scum team hasn't confessed yet. I'm liking the longer days, gives plenty of time for rereading and thinking.

I'm just going to come right out with a FOS on magicziggy. He votes for vir for defending mantis and then turns right around and defends DP.

Oh ffs. What is all this dithering about a FOS. Vote man. My logic is a flawed as anybody else's. At least I have some conviction. You are waiting for someone else to pick up the lead and vote first.

And now I'm going to run down to the grocery store. I'll see if they have any conviction in stock I can buy.
