G'day from A.robustus

Post by Atrax Robustus » Wed Jun 02, 2010 1:23 pm

HI all.

Been lurking for a long time - now its time to come in from the cold and become a member of ratz.

Not a lot to tell. Over 50, ex-military (in a service that involved lots of salt-water), engineer, now working in IT, currently studying Information Science (part-time), interested in biology, astronomy, geology, archeology (science in general). Naturally skeptical. I'm not into philosophy; but I try to maintain high standards of logic and reason. I come in somewhere above 6.5 on the Dawkins scale and I find ID and all brands of Creationism intellectually offensive. I spend some of my spare time debating IDers/creos in public debates.

Looking forward to joining in - once I find my feet and test the waters.

Sounds like you're going to have a lot in common with damn near everybody here. Welcome!

From Sydney perhaps?
Welcome to Ratz - make yourself at home. :td:
