Psycho, he knows what I meant. And I think you're 23. Like I said, I'm a trusting soul. And Colubridae, yes you can use it, when you show you're a grown-up, and not before.

:hehe: No I think he's claiming that you didn't write this:

But, considering what you've written seems to be a direct response to his own theory, and diagram, and is therefore unlikely to appear anywhere on the internet other than another forum where he might have been discussing his theory - I can't see why - or why it matters.
:dono:
Oh, I never considered that he might mean that. Perhaps he thinks that there is some cabal of scientists out there watching everything he posts and putting up responses to his arguments on a public website that he hasn't found yet.

Child, I knew within a few words it wasn't your writing. I've read enough of your twaddle on here. You've obviously given it to someone to work it out for you. You should have at least rephrased it in your own words, if you wanted to pass it off as your own work.
And Colubridae, you're not helping your cause. It's gone down to thirteen.

Can I or can I not use your quote...
I really really think you are onto something and I want to support you.

The best way is if this truly awesome quote can be seen by others.

If it's as good as you think then you should be proud...

pretty please.

just once for old time sake. People need to see your pure genius. :ddpan:

The difference in tone is because I tried, for your sake, to write the response as if you were a student in my class rather than a crank on the internet.

Different tone, different words, different facts. Like I said, I knew within a few words. But who cares, you didn't sign it, I wasn't accusing you, I was just saying I knew someone else wrote it.
Your friend immediatly conceded that available frames were limited by c, that the blue sphere was a valid representation, and that the two velocities were in the same frame. Totally unlike anything you have written. It's interesting, but what he says is really like the Irishman, who was asked how to get to Dublin.
He answered, '' ah well now, if I was going to Dublin, I wouldn't start from here''.
He doesn't actually point out what is wrong with argument 1, he's saying '' I would do this''.

Anyway, I believe that I can see what's wrong with argument 1 myself now, and it's not been pointed out by anyone so far, so I'm rather pleased that I got there first.
I'm going to give it some more scrutiny before I offer it up, and see how it affects the overall premise that only one frame is valid for the Universe as a whole.
You might even see an argument 3, ( or 1b ).

Colubridae, no you haven't got my permission to use that quote.
For three good reasons.
1) You lied about your age and don't deserve it.
2) I don't want to be linked that way to a minor. I might get accused of grooming.
3) You want to quote it out of context, like Xamonas Chegwe.
If you want to quote something silly, quote Childinazoo, where he said ''there is an infinite amount of numbers between 0 and 1 ''. ( repeated by Twiglet and Xamonas Chegwe, so take your pick ). That's where the nonsense came from, as I pointed out at the time.

Yep not so pithy as the other quote, just a more obviously stupid thing to say...

Ok MM can I use this quote in my sig.?

Pretty please :flowers:

:begging: :begging:

The legal maxim is "quit tacit consentire"

and my legal team Justice Benjamin D'Moverun-Feckham says "You'll need to give me more mmoney than that, son"

Unless you say no, I will assume that you give your permission.

No Colubridae, you don't have my permission to use any quote of mine, no matter what, for the good reasons I've already given. Now go and brush your teeth, you'll be late for school!!

Awww! are you ashamed of what you say, are you concerned that people will think you’re an idiot, embarrassed by those ludicrous quotes you make such as:-

Colubridae, my motto is '' don't mock what you don't understand ''. You seem to do the opposite. Mock everything and understand very little. Perhaps you can clearly explain what's ludicrous? I doubt that you have the nerve to try. Perhaps you could get a teacher to do it for you.
