I still don't understand the rule system.

How can 'dark forces' work?

If there is a serial killer, how come no kill on the first night? Is there a vigilante, if so makes more sense.

FYI these northern hemi-run games are hard to post in seeing as the thread is locked during my day time. Not complaining, just explaining.

I don't see why people think Normal is standing out. I think ghatanothoa has been trying to keep under the radar.

Or are they picking off strong players who are on to them? I looked at the voting record and there was nothing there so I re-read the game yet again.

Ani had a feeling about Normal and put a vote on him (later retracted in self defence). He also had a secondary FOS for Feck. Ani has a pretty good instinct and he's turned out to be innocent. He's also turned up dead.

Vote Normal
sorry Blip Ani said Anyone who didn't vote for Normal was scum and I think that points a FOS at everybody but Me as a agreed to go with his hunch until he changed his mind ! ( FOS at Normal I will vote later) . So far I'm not the one putting lynch votes in for people who turn out to be town am I !

For someone with a sculpture of the Archangel Lucifer as his avatar, that seems a disingenuous question?

Perhaps Magicziggy is on to something with his avatar theory after all... :ask:

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

No I'm new to the these games.

I don't understand how two people were killed last night.

and blip is definitely scum.

What are the rules governing overnight killings.

I assumed they were allowed to get together and kill one of the townspeople

If they can kill as many as they want overnight,
they know who is scum (someone said earlier) what's stopping them killing all town (or enough to win the game)?

The game rules don't make sense?

For the people voting for normal, you should know that scum are very careful NOT TO HIT people that will lead back to members of their teams. It's not always possible, but in the early part of the game it's very easy. Right now the scum are picking off the strongest players, and that is all. Don't read to much into the night kills until later in the game. The innocents don't have enough info yet to be a threat.

As to keeping my head down. Nope, just very busy with two babies. Check my post rate on the rest of the forum. I'm just not around much
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

The scum team can only kill one a night. They are probably the ones doing the shootings. the stabbing is from a wildcard character that we haven't identified yet. It might be a one shot deal, or they might be able to do it every night but were blocked by another wildcard. Part of this game is figuring out the rules, it's different for each game. The fact that there is at least one special on the scum side, means we probably have one also. Just pay attention and read this:

http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 50#p469516

It contains a lot of good stuff for scum spotting.

Fuck me look at this and the next post.

http://www.rationalia.com/forum/viewtop ... 25#p471084

I also sent a lot of PMs asking how things worked.

No-one has seen me play on any other forum. I was only on RDF for a short period.

I don't even know how a wildcard works. Who operates it. How it is allocated? When it gets used?
I didn't know there were 'specials' on either team! What the fuck are they? What are their rules/parameters?

Bugger me I knew this was complicated. I didn't know about all the extra 'hidden' rules.

 can someone explain briefly about wildcards.

enjoying this though!
