"The fact is that far more crime and child abuse has been committed by zealots in the name of God, Jesus and Mohammed than has ever been committed in the name of Satan. Many people don't like that statement but few can argue with it."

Have there been any peer-reviewed papers coming from the scienticians involved in Japanese whaling? They've been using this excuse for a long time and I'm glad they're finally being called on it by another country. While everyone knows it's a bullshit excuse I'd like to see the text of the agreement and the definition of what constitutes scientific research. At the very least there should be a provision that forbids the use of "scientifically" harvested whales as food, make-up, aphrodisiacs or whatever crazy shit those mad fuckers come up with.

Lol Japan.
At least I'm housebroken.

As long as whaling is done sustainably I don't see the problem. They are just big tasty sea cows.
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

I have no problem with sustainability. The Japanese whaling fleet is using a loophole that permits them to harvest whales that are protected and masking it as scientific research when it is nothing of the kind.

We can't even kill a chicken, unless it's humanely killed. Argon gas chambers. YAY!

Now let's look at whales and dolphins..... Have you ever tried to asphyxiate a bottlenose? No. they have their arteries cut open and are bled to death in front of other dolphins.
