Mafia Games

Post by devogue » Tue May 25, 2010 1:56 pm

Wow.

Not just a post, a thread or a stickie, but an entire forum about something I know absolutely nothing about whatsoever.

Feel free to post here if you are as bewildered as I am.

I have no intention of learning.

It was bad enough that I learned how to register on forums.

Not learning is no barrier to entry when it comes to Mafia games. :naughty:

Mafia will swallow your life if you are at all obsessive. And you'll have great fun.

It's soo easy.
I came third(joint) in my first game. (I missed the bit where they gave out the prizes, but I'm not in it for the fame and fortune)
Battle-hardened pros were left in my wake. Ask the likes of Virphen.
We had such fun.
Everyone around me was laughing all the time. As I was very focussed on the game, I didn't get all of the jokes.
At RatSkep, they all want to be on my team for the next game. Actually the chief organiser of the game is planning several games in advance to manipulate this. (I don't think this is fair.)
I even have a cool nickname, "Magiczippy", which is not only a clever play on my real fake name, it refers to my quickness of thought in coming to rationally correct leaps of faith.
My advice to any new player (I consider myself to be a "battle-hardened pro", but this may be my modesty prevailing), is don't think about it, just say it out loud. The other players will write a chapter of their thesis on "Mafia Psychology" based on any two words that you say.
