Re: Scum thread
Wow, thanks guys. It really is my first game, and I loved being scum. It's been a lot of fun.
Dp and Oblivion are both amazing at this game, I don't think I could have had better teachers.

The praise goes to Oblivion, I'm still a relative N00b at this too. This was only my 6th game. (and 4th as scumUselesstwit wrote:Wow, thanks guys. It really is my first game, and I loved being scum. It's been a lot of fun.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

I'm a mediocre scum player at best. But, I improve every time I play scum.
We need to raise the game here at ratz. I hope people are starting to see what the basic mechanics of mafia are all about. It's not about gm-given clues. It's about the clues that players themselves give about their roles and alignment.

I'm trying to decide if I'm going to post before the day ends. I don't think you should, since the suspicion on you is what drove blip's vote to ani. We don't want to jostle that.

Re: Scum thread
son of a biscuit, I didn't know he could check my status like that. If I go down as guilty they should go after animavore tomorrow. So I'm going to leave my vote, until the end. If anim. doesn't show up I'll switch to him. This got a lot more complicated because of my mistake about online status.

Re: Scum thread
that's odd, I can't see anyone's online status, how does blip know?

Re: Scum thread
They still both have their votes on ani. I think we're ok. but keep watch and be prepared to hop in and vote at 1 minute till if you need to.

well done my fellow scumbags. I think I'll see most of you again over at the ratskep game, and if you haven't signed up yet get over there.

I'm in the middle of another game right now. It's been a challenge keeping up with both. Also, I think I'm going to sit the next couple of games out and maybe come up with a way to help players who want to learn more about playing mafia.

I'm sorry you made a logic error, you're dead.

Re: Scum thread
the people I usually play with are so paranoid that even an obviously innocent error will get you killed in a blink. It's helped me develop the nerves for this game!Uselesstwit wrote:lol, "mafia the godkill game"oblivion wrote:I'm in the middle of another game right now. It's been a challenge keeping up with both.
