Re: Spooks, Day 8
Was there a doctor in this game, or were we just being needlessly paranoid? For that matter were there any other special roles we haven't found out about?

Blip, it remained uncertain until the very end.
You played a firm decisive game.
Oblivion, there is much I have learned, not least about you. Until next time.
Yes I have cats.

I was vanilla, and if Ani was vanilla (sorry, Ani) I'm guessing Magic was vanilla too.Uselesstwit wrote:Was there a doctor in this game, or were we just being needlessly paranoid? For that matter were there any other special roles we haven't found out about?

But sadly, an ill-judged one. I'm sorry, Team Innocent. I know I was only kept alive because my judgement was so cr*p.Magicziggy wrote:Blip, it remained uncertain until the very end.

Magic, I'll PM you about the cats!

Re: Spooks, Day 8
The info I was giving you guys about scum tells wasn't bullshit. I had hoped to be a town player in this game and be able to do some coaching until scum killed me or I was lynched. I still gave pointers, but had to consider what I could say that wouldn't hurt my team.Magicziggy wrote:Blip, it remained uncertain until the very end.

Yes I have cats.
In the end, it probably contributed to my near-lynch because you guys decided I was too smart to have played so badly.
That's the challenge of being scum - finding good reasons for bad lynches.

So higgs, when were you onto me? Did we kill you in the nick of time?

Re: Spooks, Day 8
No actually you were kept alive because we had people on us everynight after you got elected. The only ones we really went out of our way not to kill were the absentee players. Town was so handicapped by them it's not even funny.Blip wrote:But sadly, an ill-judged one. I'm sorry, Team Innocent. I really should have kept with that first instinct but it was Useless's vote against you that convinced me otherwise. High risk strategy that paid off.oblivion wrote:In the end, it probably contributed to my near-lynch because you guys decided I was too smart to have played so badly.

Yes higgs, tell us. You had Oblivion climbing the walls. We had to put off capping our likely suspect for doc. to off you.oblivion wrote:So higgs, when were you onto me? Did we kill you in the nick of time?

Re: Spooks, Day 8
I'm afraid that's true and I don't think folks should join a team game if they're not going to bother to play.Uselesstwit wrote:The only ones we really went out of our way not to kill were the absentee players. Town was so handicapped by them it's not even funny.
There's one exception: we RatSkeppers enjoy flamboyant role-playing gamesmanship and I think several of us were hurt - I was - by some of the comments meted out to Skinny. We all play to win, but in the end, it's only a game and people take different approaches to it.
Still, this doesn't detract from your win!

That one really felt okay to me. The strategy to leave sifaka alive another day so we could pop d0t. That one had me really nervous.Blip wrote:I really should have kept with that first instinct but it was Useless's vote against you that convinced me otherwise.
