How do you read Oblivion's call to protect you "tonight" or "tomorrow"?

Protecting the mayor is obviously the right thing for a townsperson to do if s/he's comfortable that the mayor is also town. I took that as supportive at the time. It could be a ruse too.

Well, this is ugly.

So ani or oblivion would read to sifaka as guilty, there's no reason to assume she'd be hit otherwise. So they're either one scum and one town, or one base scum and the don. I'm really wishing sifaka had investigated ani or oblivion rather than magicziggy.

I think magicziggy is most likely to be the town among you. Unless he's the don, and his whole game has been a brilliant performance. Which I just don't see, no offense.
The odds say blip is probably town, but the vote for ani after dp had been outed really bugs me. The fact that we lost 2 mayors we know were town in a row also makes me wonder why the scum have not hit her.

What we know is that there are one or two scum left, and one of them has to be the don. So of the group of ani and oblivion, oblivion is the one I have the least of a read on.

I'm going to put my vote on oblivion and hope this doesn't cost us the game.

I made a logic flaw here, there has to be one normal scum left and it has to be either ani or oblivion. If the only guilty one among them was the don they could have just let sifaka take her reading and hit someone else. The fact that she was killed means that there was still someone her role could affect. so it's a fifty-fifty shot one of them is a normal scum, obviously the don could be anyone.
