How'd you get a Pikachu onto a bus?

I remember playing the original Pokemon in 1998, I think it was, Game Boy Color came out about the same time so most people were playing it in black and white. Although only the rich kids had Game Boys so most people had to settle for the cards.

LOL. THINGS BACK THEN WERE SO EXPENSIVE.
A DSi now costs about $120 maybe... How much did it cost back then?

I really don't remember, I was about 10 or 11, so I didn't buy these things myself. I still have my Game Boy and Game Boy Colour, relics to show my grandchildren and tell them how amazing and exciting it was to play with these things, they'll say "that's great grandpa", then go off to play in the holodeck.

Nah, they'll go off to their holographic 3-D game systems and jump inside the television screen, playing M4R10 v45.0, knocking over robotic koopas and collecting electrical mushrooms, afterwards putting machines on their heads and closing their eyes for their 5 second sleep, waking up from a great dream that seems to have lasted hours. Then they'll teleport to school with their watches and be taught to by perfect robots that answer questions and teach without mistakes, breaks, or food with batteries that last 5 years.
As you can tell, I put much thought into our future.

Oh for fuck's sake. They should have stopped after Red and Blue.

Pokemon is the second most lucrative video game franchise in history. This gravy train will be here for a long time yet...
