Re: lolcat Mafia Peanut Gallery
Hey guys, speaking of tells:
Protip: the people who griped most about how difficult it is not having PMs and omg how are the specials going to communicate? -- they were able to PM. The masons and the scum team were the only people who kept harping on their lack of PMs.
Whatever the advantage/disadvantage is - the people who aren't constrained just can't seem to shut up about it. You should work on that. It's an easy thing to fix.
(Except durro - and he was trying to work out how to work around the lack of PMs, rather than griping)

I tried to put my mind into that of being innocent and then play it that way. I'm not sure how successful it is. It's hard to balance between too obvious and not obvious enough.

Yes it is.Animavore wrote:I tried to put my mind into that of being innocent and then play it that way. I'm not sure how successful it is. It's hard to balance between too obvious and not obvious enough.
I don't think I've ever played a game where both the vig and the sk stayed in the game for so long. The SK is meant to be a sort of balancer in the game. He won't want either side to get a runaway advantage, and will tend to target people on the team that's ahead. Killing Ghat on night 6 as you planned would have made the win almost impossible, though. There was no way town would buy that there was yet another scum in the game.

I've been pegged as scum day one and lynched. Probably more than once.

So how did he help? Just by playing? Or was he mentoring someone?

Almost anything as long as it's no pm.oblivion wrote:So do you guys like themes that aren't all about the organized crime? Or do you prefer more standard games?

I've never been lynched as scum either. I've been killed in my sleep by a murderer but never lynched. I was lynched as innocent after trying to use shock and awe tactics to flush out the guilty but it backfired severely. I didn't even get lynched as SK although I did kill myself

Not mentoring, no. It was a no rules game. c'est la vie.higgs2 wrote:So how did he help? Just by playing? Or was he mentoring someone?
