Cool! Another Ratzian in the public eye!

Odd that they went so far as to mention the details of your camera and lens, tho. :ask:

Thanks, guys... and I can likely tell you his mindset as relates to "camera and lens":, though not his intent... When I phoned it in and suggested I had decent pics, his immediate response was something around "You know - point-and-shoots don't really give us useful pictures..." (yes, before I'd even mention camera type), and when I told him what I was shooting with, he apologized profusely and said that they get call after call with point-and-shoot and cell phone images that they simply can't use. Re intent, maybe he was trying to send a message of what they can use (though I'm sure that they don't need the second-best rated camera sensor on the planet - or the best under ~$39,000 - before they'll use images...)

I just re-read the story and there's no mention of your equipment this time. I guess its been edited out.

In his eight years in the Canadian navy, Aubrey served on an aircraft carrier, a destroyer, an ocean escort and a submarine and saw only one sailor fall overboard during his career.
In other words, the difference between professionals and civilians?

I'm just curious as to why Brett is the main focus of the article, inspite of the title.
"The fact is that far more crime and child abuse has been committed by zealots in the name of God, Jesus and Mohammed than has ever been committed in the name of Satan. Many people don't like that statement but few can argue with it."

'Cause I was the only one providing information, so it's either write a bit around what I said/experienced or write virtually nothing and just post a coupl'a pics. Beside, I'm a Ratz - nuttin' else matters but Ratz-ites, don'cha know...
