No one here has objected to them or to the point you're trying to make with them, which I empathise and agree with.

But they ARE disturbing, because of the horror of how the injuries came about. And some people would not like to be placed in the position of having unwittingly run across them where they may have to have a conversation with their child that they're not ready for.

And some Muslim men would not like to be placed in the position of having unwittingly run across images of women not wearing burkas and having to have a conversation with their son that their not ready for.

It's not as if they were browsing the 'disturbing images' forum.

The thing that gets me is his constant comments about women. Firstly his bastardised religion can be totally dismissed as a source of moral guidance simply because of it's attitude to women .More than that, his personal experience of women must be at most extremely limited (most probably nonexistant )yet he makes comment in an annoying familiar way as if he imparts knowledge .

Despite being labelled as an Abu Ghraib torture picture (check properties), it can't be what it purports to be, since there have not been reports of deaths there, and at any rate, a prisoner who died under torture would not have been left out long enough to get into that state.

mandy, the difference is the pics I posted are of terribly assaulted people who are trying to get on with their lives, while yours are of the actual perpetration of violence against people and/or the gloating enjoyment of it.

I must say, though, that all the images (yours and mine) were posted to represent the depths of inhumane behaviour that humanity is capable of.
