That, and Normal's continued accusations against me earlier in this day round when I feel I've done more than enough to demonstrate my help to the innocents makes me suspicious.

It's not evidence of my innocence. It was a desperate pleading mail from Meph that I saw right through. I still don't know if it's against the rules to post the whole PM exchange. Proof? You now need proof? You've been killing players every night without proof but for some reason you have one player that you think is beyond reproach? Such that you'd kill me off for daring suggest he's guilty? Can you explain that?

This is the PM I received from Meph the evening before he was murdered in the night:

Okay, so I think I can trust you. Again, I'm really sorry for all of the shit throwing, and I really tried to keep you safe because I think you're one of the least suspicious, but I had a reason for doing so. JR is right: there's no way that we'd have a Committeh completely full of vanilla town cats. I can't tell anyone about my power because otherwise I'm just useless, but I need either the scum or the serial killer to try to night kill me.

I'm Force Field Cat. The role term he gave me was "The Bomb." In the event I am night-killed, my force field shatters and it kills both of us.

Which is why Lion CAN'T kill me. I need to somehow convince the others of this. I'm pretty certain that JA is the serial killer now and is waiting to pick off one of us, but if he and everyone else thinks that Lion's taking care of me tonight there's no reason for either him or the scum to try to kill me. And despite the fact that Lion's been killing off a shitload of innocents, I think he's one of our best shots at picking off the rest of the scum.

So what do I do? How can I attract someone other than Lion to kill me? I've been trying my damndest to look suspicious enough, but now it seems too suspicious and I might end up killing Lion and ending the game...should I go public with it?

At this point I wondered if he could be sincere, but judged against it. So the reply I sent was: So. What you're saying is "I'm scum, and tonight I will be protected by the prostitute. Please in any way make them kill me"?
That was my suspicion at the time.

No, I'm saying I'm with town, I'm trying to sacrifice myself to get rid of either the serial killer or a scum. I didn't know what else to do because coming right out with it completely ruins any chance I have of taking out evil people. I was hoping that my secretiveness at the end of day 3 might help take out one of them (which at the time I thought might be you), but when that didn't work I decided to be more aggressive in my shit-throwing to maybe coerce one of them into picking me off. But at this rate if Lion targets me tonight, we're both dead and my death will have been for nothing.

So he was just desperately trying to get me to somehow protect him. I don't think the PMs hold any information that is useful to us now
