Animavore, I'm trusting you more and more... you're making sense.

Normal, yes I could be a bad kitteh and played an amazing game of bluff. But really, if I was bad, would I have spent 2 friggin' hours last night reading through the entire game thread and cataloging all voting trends and significant moves in the game ? It's interesting that you try to shift suspicion to me just after I point out that you may be the serial killer.

At this stage, I'd have to lean towards voting for Higgs2 or I've been completely wrong about Mantis and she's played a brilliant game of deception and ruthlessness. But I shall follow Animavore's advice and withhold my vote until we hear from JA.

I didn't notice that you said I could be the serial killer. I'm sorry. I've read through your post again and it answered my question of when redial made her list. Seems I wasn't paying enough attention on the first skim through.

I think you should take it as a complement that I suspected you. Because it would indeed be an amazingly well played bluff

But yes. Waiting for what JA has to say is sound advice

I didn't vote for RappingAgnostic on Tuesday (my time), as I'd just been through the whole Virphen lynch thing, attacked Twnkie after misreading her post and I was very busy at work and having trouble concentrating on the game's developments and subtleties. I was feeling stupid for fucking up twice and publicly announced that players could vote for me if they wish and I wouldn't contest it.

I went to bed with the vote still very close in my favour. When I woke up and logged on the next morning, there had been a switch in sentiment and RA was successfully lynched by the good guys and probably a bad guy or two.

Without knowing what i know about me, I would look at my game summary and suggest that I was loking suspicious and I can understand why people like Twinkie have made that accusation repeatedly. No offence taken and it's only a game, etc. All I can offer is my sincere apologies for fucking up in the first round and point to the work I've done to help the innocents communicate, protect the key players and now, track the voting trends. Once I got my head in the game and was able to focus and put some time into it, I reviewed the game and nominated 4 people as suspicious and likely bad kittehs yesterday and guess what ? 2 of them were killed and both were bad.

So, vote for me if you really wish to. But I am agnostic cat, vanilla town, as I've said all along. Genuinely innocent players should be concentrating on finding the (presumably) last evil cat and the cross dressing serial killer. People that vote to lynch me must be viewed as suspicious (except Twinkie- she's been consistently against me the whole game so I'll excuse her).

Why does everyone keep leaving Tigger/Ghat2 out of the analysis?

Anyway, that's who I visited last night and I learned he snores. Which either means he is innocent or there are two scum and he was not the one doing the kill. I'm not sure I'd have been told he was asleep all night if it was the second of those, though, so I'm going with innocent.

Two things. I think I know Higgs from another board. If I'm right, I basically taught her how to play this game, so while she is playing the way I taught her to play town, I might be blind to some of her scum tells, so someone else should go through her posts to see if they can make a case against her.

Second, my scumdar is going off strongly against one of you. I'm going to go back and see if I can see why. More in a bit.

Boring vanilla town all the way. Astronaut cat. So nothing damning from investigations then. Back to hunches and finger pointing it is.

Vote DP
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

Durro wrote: ROUND 2[/b]

Rappingagnostic just beat me for the lynch vote and was revealed to be a bad guy who could role block the good guys.

Players that voted for RA in order were - JA Poisson, Higgs2, Skinny Puppy , DP (tied it at 4-4), Animavore (made it 5-4), Mantisdreamz (made it 6-4), Mephistopheles and Normal cast the 8th vote just before end of round.
I see two possible scenarios (might be more) from this voting.
RA was scum, so DP voting to tie the vote, and Ani and Mantis making the vote for RA stick by cementing it with their votes. That would make DP, Ani and Mantis look innocent. From this scenario we now know Meph was scum, so he was trying to hide his status as scum by voting for a scum that was already going down. My decision to vote was only based on popular opinion. At that time I was still sick, and just wanted to vote to show participation. I didn't know what the arguments were against RA, so it was a blind vote.

A second possible scenario is that both Durro and RA were scum, but Durro had the key role of Basement Cat (or godfather or something). Then the scum had to decide which of the two lynch targets were least worth, and tip the scale in favour of the least needed. Then DP, Ani and/or Mantis suddenly look suspicious again. The downside of this is that Durro would have to play a VERY convincing role, and keep up the charade of good guy in a VERY tight manner. I know that I wouldn't be able to do what Durro has done if I was scum. I would never be able to keep it up and look as innocent as Durro looks. So it's less likely, but stil a possibility, in my opinion, that this second scenario is right.

Or the third scenario is the one Durro gave were I was convinced by Durro's argument and decided to bail him out against RA.
I don't buy what you're saying. It would suggest there are more scum than usual although I do grant that it is plausible.

Oh, there's that. That may be more likely =/
I think I should stop making theories like that. The obvious flaws in my reasoning only make me look bad, and it adds nothing or little worthwhile to the discussion. If you would kindly disregard my previous post?

But I can post it if you guys like. I don't think it's worth much since he's dead, but I can spend some time rewording it? (Is copying the entire thing in here against the rules?)

Just reread the entire game, Mantis is the sk, animavore is probably the last scum, the only confusing factor is that DP has posted so little. hth
