Redial huffs some more about being led astray by evil influences while you smack your rolled up newspapers menacingly on the floor. He's out the door in a flash trailing a chilling laugh and a cloud of eyewatering sulfur.



Redial was Lucy Fur, one of Basement Cat's chief minions and was a scum kitteh.

Night actions are due in 7.5 hours. Day 5 starts in 8 hours.

Oh what a night. The yowling and hissing kept you trembling in your baskets. But the rising sun emboldens you and you cautiously prowl the not-so-happy cathouse to survey the situation.

You find Blip in her basket decked out in that familiar fashion statement of fishnets, miniskirt and a garrote cord choker. Her tiara has slipped down jauntily over one blank staring eye.



Blip was 25% Evil Cat and was a traitor who viewed as town but won with scum.

Further exploration proves that other cats are missing. Feck's basket is empty but still warm, almost unnaturally warm. A miasma of sulphur hovers over the basket.



Feck was Curious Cat and was the town seer. Feck could investigate one player per night to learn their alignment.

Mephistopheles' bed is also empty. The sulphur odor is very strong, as though it has penetrated every fiber of the basket.



You realize that the cute, gregarious kitteh you knew as a member of the Itteh Bitteh Kitteh Committeh had a dark secret...

I guess sitting down and going through the threads for nearly 2 hours last night and working out voting trends with the benefit of hindsight and knowing who was guilty was worth it. I did say that Blip and Meph were 2 out of 4 likely to be bad kittehs.

It seems that our fetish killer got Blip.

What's up with 2 sulfurous smells though ? Lion, did you kill anyone, or have you turned evil or something ? Or does basement cat get two kills a night now that his/her minions have been depleted ? Lion, please explain what you did during the night, if anything.

Twinkie must have chosen herself and Lion to protect last night. A lucky guess for the bad guys I assume to get Feck. Without our investigator, we're left with reviewing player behaviour, as we can't investigate anyone now.

Heyyyyyyy, a thought occured to me. What if Feck investigated Basement Cat ? Maybe basement cat being investigated would kill Feck and the other sulfurous smell was from the regular kill by the bad guys. Did Feck say who he was going to check out last night ? But that would mean that Lion either went after the same person as one of the Bad guy kills, or Lion did nothing last night. Lion ????

Basement Cat killed Feck, leaving the sulphur
LionIRC killed Meph, and as Meph was a demonic cat, he left sulphur behind when he went.
The serial killer cat got Blip.

So, we have at a minimum, Basement Cat and the Serial Killer still left to get ? Right ? But no investigative kitteh.

I'm going to revisit my post from yesterday that tracked the voting and narrowed down the bad guys and add in the new information we now know. I'm going home in 10 mins but will be back on-line in an hour after I get my daughter to gymnastics.
